Visit to the Mach Lopp
I am intending to visit the Mach Loop over the next 2-3 weeks. I will have a couple of spare seat so if anyone is interested in coming along please email me LCC-chair@hotmail.com.
The RAF and USAF practice high speed, low level flying around the Mach Loop, it's fast and very noisy but can be a good day out. The trip down takes a little over two hours and parking can be limited so I usually aim to arrive around 8am and return mid-late afternoon depending on weather condition which can affect flying. There are several viewing points but all require a walk up a steep incline over uneven ground, so a good level of mobility is required.
Have a look at the link below and if you have any more questions please get in touch.

Visited with Graham Slight and had a good day with a final fly past from a trio of C130 Hercules aircraft which are being retired from the RAF.
An early start to arrive for 8am but we had a thoroughly enjoyable day, with a selection of RAF planes going through at low level.
If anyone else is interest in a future trip please let me know and we can another visit
.
