Great Places to get Photos
Wartime in the Vale takes place near Evesham 17th to 18th June. It is a great place to take photos of World War 2 re enactors and war time equipment in action. It involves explosions, machine guns and an assault course for tanks and wartime vehicles.
Pay on the gate only. No online booking. £15

Dogs allowed but they need to be OK with loud gunshots and explosions.

Upton Blues Festival July 21st to 23rd July. This is free. you might get free parking if you arrive early. It starts at 12.00 noon and runs on until 11.30pm on Friday and Saturday, 11.00pm. There are stages all over the town with good photo opportunities. Short people might find it useful to take a folding step stool to stand on.
Tewkesbury Medieval Weekeend

This is the largest free medieval gathering of its kind in Europe attracting re enactors, traders and entertainers from from all over the world. There are street parades through the town an encampment and a battle on the battle field , market stalls selling all kinds of medieval costumes, furniture, armour. People in costume wander round the site and you may find people carrying dragons on their shoulders.
