Top Judge
Congratulations to Anne Anderson who is this year's "Top Judge".  Not only did Anne select the top five images (decided by a consensus of participating members), she was also the author of the top image, the iconic lone tree on Buttermere.

First meeting with Dave Fieldhouse
Our original speaker for the first meeting has unfortunately had to withdraw due to personal circumstances.  However, we are delighted to have secured the services of the highly regarded Lichfield based photographer, Dave Fieldhouse.  Dave is a frequent contributor to photography journals such as Amateur Photographer and many members will recall Dave's last visit to the club when he wowed us with some amazing landscape photography. This time he will be sharing his thoughts and techniques on urban and street photography - an evening not to be missed.
 
Photography opportunities this summer
Catherine Nicholls has kindly produced a list of events that might be of interest to members during the summer break including, steam fairs, battle re-enactments and WW2 days.  For more information click here.
2021 -22 Print Competition Winners
Congratulations to Joe Anderson and Sandra Morgan who won the Advanced and Beginners / Intermediate Colour Print Competitions respectively this year. Sandra made it a double success by also winning the Mono Competition while Sue Freeman won the Advanced Mono Competition.  Full scores can be found on the PhotoEntry website.
2022 May PDI  Competition

This months' competition was the last PDI of the year.  Congratulations to Darron Matthews and Ivan Shaw who won the Advanced and Beginners/ Intermediate sections respectively.

2022 April Print Competition

Congratulations to Sandra Morgan  who took first and second places in both the Colour and Mono sections of the April 22 Beginners/ Intermediate Print competition.


David Keith Jones  

Tributes paid to Lichfield Photographer and Writer. Members of Lichfield Camera Club have been greatly saddened by the death of fellow member David Keith Jones on 7th April.  Read more

 
Limburg Just Pip Lichfield in 2022 Competition
Limburg pipped Lichfield  for the first time in three years scoring 905 points to our 894. Congratulations to Sue Freeman, Darron Matthews and Rob Ings who tied for third place for the best individual image, scoring 36 out of a possible 40 points.  Click here for a full set of results.
